The canoe trip lasts approximately two hours and refreshments are served midway through. Guests can relax and enjoy the ride while the guide navigates the waterways, pointing out the sheer beauty of the marine vegetation. The river is known for its incredible birdlife, including Kingfishers, African Pygmy Geese, Black Crakes, Purple Gallinules, River Warblers, African Jacanas, Herons, and more, as well as large African Water Lilys and freshwater fish such as barbel. It a serene activity perfect for a relaxing family outing or a romantic retreat.

When the ride is over, a transfer to guests’ accommodation is provided. Specialist canoe rides include photographic safaris and trips for larger groups. Guests are encouraged to bring Binoculars, Sun Cream, Sun Hats, Sun Glasses, Bug Spray, Camera/Go-Pro cameras, Shorts and Flip flops.
